Like all of us deep down, Carmesina is special. One day, after talking to a very peculiar black cat, she discovers she has a gift. Although she doesn?t yet know it, her gift will allow her to bring a touch of color to a drab and dreary world. This is the first story in a series of tales about friendship, laughter, courage, nature, and love populated by characters both real and fantastical, but always unfailingly human, with whom the reader is sure to identify.
Forgotten Colors and Other Illustrated Stories takes readers on a journey into fantasy and imagination in the form of fifteen tales that aim to awaken the child inside us. Although intended for adults, the stories are written and illustrated in a lively and vibrant style that is equally appropriate for youngsters and teens. Read them alone to reflect on their content or aloud like the storytellers of old to enjoy them in groups.
This book was made by dint of enthusiasm and by stealing time each day from our everyday obligations. It is a project by Play Attitude, a division of the Play Creatividad design agency.
